ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵ ਉਸ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ) ਦੇ ਹੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ; ਉਹ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਹੀ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਦਦਗਾਰ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ । ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਦੀ (ਇੱਜ਼ਤ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ (ਉਸ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਸੇਵਕ ਦੀ) ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਪੂਰੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਬਣੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ।੧। ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪੂਰਨ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਸਦਾ) ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ (ਸਹਾਈ) ਹੈ । ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੇਰੀ (ਇੱਜ਼ਤ) ਰੱਖ ਲਈ ਹੈ । ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੀ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ।੧।ਰਹਾਉ। ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਨਾਨਕ (ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ) ਨਾਮ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਸਿਮਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਜਿੰਦ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸੁਆਸ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ । ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮਾਪੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤਿਵੇਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਨੂੰ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਗਲ ਨਾਲ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ ।੨।੨੨।੫੦॥

All beings and creatures were created by Him; He alone is the support and friend of the Saints. He Himself preserves the honor of His servants; their glorious greatness becomes perfect. || 1 || The Perfect Supreme Lord God is always with me. The Perfect Guru has perfectly and totally protected me, and now everyone is kind and compassionate to me. || 1 || Pause || Night and day, Nanak meditates on the Naam, the Name of the Lord; He is the Giver of the soul, and the breath of life itself. He hugs His slave close in His loving embrace, like the mother and father hug their child. || 2 || 22 || 50 ||

सभी जीव और जंतु उस परमेश्वर के ही पैदा किए हुए हैं और वही संतों (भक्तों) का सहायक और मददगार है। वह अपने सेवक की लाज (इज़्ज़त) स्वयं रखता है, जिससे उसकी महिमा और बड़ाई पूर्ण रूप से बनी रहती है ॥१॥ पूर्ण पारब्रह्म (परमात्मा) हमेशा मेरे साथ है। पूर्ण गुरु ने मेरी लाज अच्छी तरह से सुरक्षित रखी है और वह प्रभु सभी जीवों पर दयावान रहता है ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ नानक हर समय (दिन-रात) उस परमात्मा के नाम का सिमरन करता है, जो जीवन, प्राण और साँसों को देने वाला दाता है। परमात्मा अपने दास को अपने गले से लगाकर रखता है, ठीक उसी तरह जैसे माता-पिता अपने छोटे बच्चे का ध्यान रखते हैं और उसे संभालते हैं ॥२॥२२॥५०॥

No matter what challenges, fears, or uncertainties we face, God is never far away. The One who created all beings is also the One who lovingly sustains and protects them. When we place our trust in the Divine and walk the path shown by the Guru, we are never alone. God preserves the honor of those who remember Him and fills their lives with His grace.The Hukamnama reminds us that the Perfect Lord is always with us. Human support may change, but Divine support remains constant. When we develop faith in God’s presence, fear begins to fade, and we experience inner peace. The Guru’s guidance becomes our shield, protecting us from despair, doubt, and negativity.Just as loving parents embrace and care for their child, God lovingly cares for His devotees. Through meditation on Naam and constant remembrance of the Divine, we feel this closeness and protection in every moment of life.
Life Lesson
Many people spend their lives searching for security in wealth, status, or the approval of others. This Hukamnama teaches that true security comes from our connection with God. When we remember the Creator and live according to the Guru’s teachings, we develop the confidence that whatever happens, we are under Divine care.Instead of worrying about what we cannot control, we can focus on nurturing our relationship with God through prayer, gratitude, humility, and Naam Simran. The one who trusts in God finds strength even during difficult times because they know that the Divine Protector never abandons His children.
